Renovations and decorations transformed the dark, dated and formal detailed property into a relaxing and inviting space ready for an Apres-ski or a summer vacation. The curation of goods and materials in this project played a leading role: mixing vintage pieces with a number of locally made and hand-crafted items and furnishings from skilled artisans helped create an approachable luxury. The juxtaposition of light and dark was another design strategy to create a space that would feel comfortable and inviting throughout all seasons of the year.
